Porcelain no, wood/gypsum yes

Works great with wood and plaster, but not porcelain. I have replaced all my closet bumpers with custom ones and they work so well. The only caveat I find is if you buy them to use as a bumper so the toilet seat doesn't bang loudly on the flush tank with every movement. Not. I think the cold will cause the glue on the back to spread all over the porcelain and make a mess. BUT for wood and plaster these are your cheap friends.

Pros
  • Rubber pads are self-adhesive, leave no marks when removed
Cons
  • disappear

So far they hold up

Time will tell how well they hold up. I've had others that came off as soon as you applied them. So far they seem to be holding up. I use them as legs, not bumpers. I put them on small bookshelf speakers. They protect the wooden surface, are non-slip and insulate them from the surface on which they are placed. Why deducted a star? There's no real reason. I love her, I don't love her. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but come on, they're not much to write about either.

Pros
  • Impact resistant, impact resistant, reduce noise from slamming, knocking and closing
Cons
  • There are downsides

Versatile and cheap - works great too!

We bought a new fridge and the French door has stuck in the door panel caught. not ideal for a new device. We fitted two of these rubber feet to our frame and it's the perfect gentle stop for the door without NOBODY noticing. I like pointing this out to people and they're surprised they haven't seen it. I ended up using them in many similar situations (cupboards banging against the hood over the stove, drawers slamming shut to keep tables from scratching freshly painted walls). . I've even used

Pros
  • Put rubber strips on all kinds of furniture such as cupboards, cupboards, drawers, toilets, vases where you want to put them
Cons
  • Not bad but...
