Good seat although doesn't fully close

I've been a fan of Mayfair seats for a number of years. I bought at least 7 of these for our homes. Initially I bought wooden ones which I liked a lot, apart from the fact that urine soiled the wood and the use of household cleaners ruined the wood's finish. So this time I bought 3 plastic models. Unlike many plastic seats, they're comfortable and don't feel like plastic. They are also very easy to clean. My only issue was that none of the three have seats or lids that close completely when you

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Best seat I have ever had and have had many

Love this seat, I have one in every bathroom, I've never had a seat in years so I bought another one for the 3rd bathroom . My only problem was with the first places. was easy to install, this one comes with a couple of screws that need to be turned until they loosen, of course I can't get them to snap off so I left them there. I've tried wrenches, nothing, I don't need someone stronger than me to try and turn them until they break, and I'm not really a weak person because they're stuckโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

Too low profile feels cheap but feels solid and durable

After looking at a few toilet seats I settled on this one. The seat is pretty thin. At the end he feels a little weak. I've read other reviews that said "it's less stiff than a wooden seat" but I'd say it's more a matter of the amount of material in the seat. My least favorite thing about this seat is that it, when folded down is very "short" or "flat" and means you end up sitting very close to the bowl. I don't see this as a comfort or sanitization issue, but it was fun. I must say, howeverโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin
