Game On! best in my review

This adapter is a game changer! Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say it works like a charm on my Wii U. The connection is easy to establish and there is no lag. Playing games with the original GameCube controllers feels so nostalgic and comfortable.

Perfect for Brawl in Wii

I switched all my games from Wii to Wii U because WiiMode upscales to 1080p and you have the added benefit of a digital signal over HDMI over the not so clear component image of the original Wii . One of the downsides was the inability to brawl Super Smash Bros. with GameCube controllers; I've always felt uncomfortable using a classic controller for this game since I've been playing melee for so many years. This adapter solves that problem and as far as I can tell is very responsive with no lag

Reliable adapter, but not without problems.

I bought this adapter to connect Super Smash Bros. My favorite controllers for Smash Bros. games. and virtual console. This is currently the only controller adapter that allows you to use Gamecube controllers on the Wii U. That will change this winter, however, when the PDP comes out with a Gamecube-inspired Battle Pad (officially licensed by Nintendo) and Nintendo itself releases its Gamecube Controller Adapter for the Wii U. But if you can't wait until those products come out and want toโ€ฆ
