These lights work as advertised but could be better: (a) I wish they would turn on and off smoothly (e.g. within 2 seconds) rather than turning on instantly at full brightness. It's amazing at night in a dark room. Fading would be more elegant. (b) I want the time before shutdown to be adjustable. It's currently around 15-20 seconds. Imagine you go to the toilet. This is exactly what I was looking for - just a soft subdued light for dark rooms. The square shape also looks pretty cool in the dark. They are not very bright which is perfect for the application I wanted. I really like these lamps but only two out of four worked! The other two do not light up even if they are plugged into the same sockets as the work lights. (Of course I turned off the room light, fool). The seller offered a non-refundable refund and gave me a link to some similar lights I could order from Revain.
