Good coilovers for the money

My son and I installed the set of four today. First we watched YouTube videos which was extremely helpful. Not difficult if you have a good set of tools and mechanical aptitude. My 92 Miata with 125K was handling horribly. These made a huge improvement. It's fun to drive again.

Pros
  • ‎MO36@CO-MX5-B-NA
Cons
  • May not be street legal in certain locations, leading to potential legal issues

What's up with the rear height?

Install was easy, direct bolt on for NB. Maybe slight rubbing issues on front near mount on the a-arm.However, the biggest problem is the rear suspension. It's like they send you a lowering coilover for the front and a lift kit for the rear. Adjusted all of the way down, they may actually still be higher than stock in the rear. I didn't want to adjust them super soft so I settled for just a little softer than default and all of the way down in the rear. Now my car looks stock because I adjusted

Pros
  • Well worth the money you get what you pay for. Doesn’t sit too low rides great.
Cons
  • Can be expensive to purchase and install
