MBS Colt 90 Purple Mountainboard Review

The board is beautiful and of excellent quality. We are so excited that our son will be opening it on Christmas morning! The only problem is that one of the nuts on the bar end of the bar is missing, other than that it's a good buy.

Great board, although I wish it had a bigger turning radius. I'm not around hills or mountains, just on the beach, but that wears me out pretty quickly. The only other downside is that I can't go to malls with it, so I'll have to find a way to attach it to a bike rack. I will keep updating my review, in a few months I will add an engine.

This is a well made board, very big, wide and heavy. My board came with valve stem caps missing, flat tires and the valve stem itself punctured the box it came in so they were badly bent. They just threw that box in a big box, too lazy to see the damage, and just repackaged it. Trying to get a refund for it means lugging a 4ft tall box back to the post office.

Bought this board for kitesurfing and trail riding with my dogs. I was torn between ordering this or a higher model with metal hubs and upgraded bogies/mounts. I'm glad I went with this model as the plastic grommets seem strong enough and the carts and brackets seem great! My dogs love to run alongside as we ride around the neighborhood and on our local trails. Bought and attached to a sail for windsurfing. I've been doing this with skateboards and windsurf sails for years. By far the best trip. I can ride any gravel and it's stable at high speeds in very strong winds. The tires are durable and can be inflated for minimal drag. It also now allows me to skate on grass and gravel tracks. If you're a longboarder looking for a smoother ride over bumpy terrain or roads, this is a dumb product that works great but with a few tweaks. First the wheels.
