It is the tool of choice for maintenance personnel ,test frequency and signal strength for wireless enthusiasts. This portable frequency counter is designed for counting continuous wave signal comes from Two-way Radio. There are easy ranges for you to choose. The ranges cover most of the frequency of the two way radios you want to measure. Its four-button control is easy to use and its small size allows you to carry it anywhere you like. Work by TCXO (Temperature Compensate X'tal (crystal) Oscillator) ,In the range of -45 °C ~ 65 °C can reach ± 2 ~ ± 4ppm accuracy. Does not work with radios cb

Does not work on 27MHz. For this I needed 27,000 MHz. Works great on 2 meters and 70 cm but I don't use these types of radios, I use CB radio 11 meters

Great bang for your buck.

Works as it should. Arrived the next day. As others have said, the frequency is off around 1-2Hz. Perhaps the desired frequency can be achieved with a little fine-tuning of the settings. Would definitely recommend to other hobbyist friends. 73s

made my life a lot easier when trying to program my radio. I had incorrect radio frequency information. Surecom told me what the radio actually does, so I was able to program my second radio.

A good product. Small and convenient.

Used for about 3 weeks but didn't have time to try it. I have a radio and most of the time it reads the frequency of each channel. A couple of times I missed a frequency that I didn't recognize or that didn't match my radio frequency.

Excellent--: Radios

For the price this is perfect. As a radio amateur, I mostly check the frequency. What impressed me is that it will measure DMR (digital). If you need 10-12Hz accuracy or better, this isn't for you. For measurements that don't require accuracy in the 1Hz range (this device gets around +/- 500Hz), this is a good little meter. I used this to set up the radio input/output, DMR, to make my "open point" work more clearly.

High precision frequency counter with incredible battery life, very poor tone or DC decoding.

Overwhelmed by how accurate this number is to the 7th digit. Even more amazing, the tiny lithium polymer battery lasts ALL DAY without recharging. and it ran more than 3 hours early and still had more than half the battery left. It's reasonable to assume that it can last 12 to 14 hours on a single charge. It works well with the included antenna on VHF and UHF FM and picks up all frequencies perfectly. Gate speed and sensitivity gain work normally. BUT CTS decoding is useless, DCS is slightly…
