Correct number required for trailer, can be used on anything

Choice. Normally McGards are sold in packs of 4 so you can buy 4 packs of regular nuts and one pack if you don't need or need locks there's nothing wrong with buying two of those packs of 10. In fact in this form it's cheaper to buy than 5 packs of four I haven't found chrome nuts anywhere near McGard at least, they can rust though got it but a quick buff will remove it.Unlike most chrome nuts I've used the chrome never comes off.If there is a bit of rust (usually around the edges) a quick…

OEM Jeep CJ Nuts

During the restoration of my 1984 Jeep CJ-7, I measured the best mounting nuts that would match the factory OEM types used during the 1976-86 Jeep CJ era. They are near perfect if not identical to those used by AMC/Jeep in their day. The style, size and finish are OEM specs for the T. I have purchased additional kits in case I decide to do another Jeep CJ restoration.

Quality nuts with a lifetime guarantee!

I bought these McGard nuts to replace the crappy two piece nuts that came with my RV. The two piece ones were damaged so I couldn't put them back in my pocket so I decided to replace them with progressively better one piece McGards. I found them to hold torque well as even after an 11 hour round trip none of them needed re-torque.

Great nuts good for lug nuts

These are lug nuts nothing to say they hold the wheels. Seriously, they look really good and other reviews show they hold chrome better than cheaper brands. I had to transplant them to new rims (tighten after a few miles), but I think that was just the result of two new finishes mating together. I had to wait for a short order, only needed ten for the trailer and this lot ran out, but it didn't take long and I'm glad I waited for it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Working speed

Correct number needed for trailers can be used for anything

Whether you need 1/2"-20 nuts for your trailer or not, this is a good choice. Normally McGard is sold in packs of 4 so you can buy 4 packs of regular nuts and a pack of locks, if you don't need or don't need locks there is no reason not to buy two of these 10 packs, in fact it's cheaper to buy them in this form as 5-4 packs. As for the nuts themselves, I haven't found any chrome nuts that even come close to McGard. While rust can appear on them, a quick buff will remove it and it seems to flake

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Compatibility
