🔧 McGard 84537 Chrome Bulge Style Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit - M12 x 1.5 Thread Size (5-Lug Wheels) Review

Looks great on my 2014 Ford Focus SE with twin 5 spoke ST wheels. Enormous optical and mechanical improvement compared to damaged and poorly processed nuts.

Wow Wow I have a 2014 Ford Fusion, they stick out about 3/16 more than the factory junk which is amazing because you can see the craftsmanship and beauty of this great product!

These cleats were the perfect replacement for my factory cleats which were so swollen they were difficult to remove. These cleats are machined from one piece and now last the life of the vehicle.

I wanted 20 McGard nuts but no wheel locks. As shown in the picture, this kit includes valve stems that I would use on another machine with non-original wheels. So I figured I'd just grab a kit and use the locks which are PITA. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa no valve stems. I needed them so I kept them. I've had two bad buys in the last few weeks because of Revane's crappy descriptions.

I was looking to replace the factory plastic cap screws on my C5 2000 Corvette and the Corvette forums highly recommended the McGard brand. They are the perfect complement to the new Gran Sport rims and new tires I just put on the car. They look like matches straight from a specialty store! I'll update as we make progress in terms of durability, although this car doesn't experience wet or salty driving conditions.

Excellent nuts, well made, tapered fit very well (taper machined very concentric to thread). The only issue I have is the weight difference between the lug nuts and the locks. Each nut weighs 54g (1.9 oz) and wheel lock weighs 71g (2.5 oz); It's too big a difference and it unbalanced my bike. So I had to buy a set of 4 regular nuts separately, plus I can't use a wheel lock. McGard must find a way to redesign his wheel locks to match the weight of regular nuts.
