I'm so glad this rug doesn't have a non-slip rubber backing. I have marble tiles that need to breathe. This is the perfect rug to keep my expensive tiles intact. These rugs are thick and comfortable. I washed both rugs and they stayed completely together throughout the wash and dry cycle. Good quality and durability. I've had trouble finding 100% cotton without a non-slip backing and these rugs are exactly what I was looking for.

Plush, soft and good color. I've always wanted something to brighten my life - and color does. But the reviewers are right, the rug continues to shed a great deal of fluffy fabric, which is still a nuisance in the washer and dryer even with later loads. The bath rug throws so much lint out of the washing machine hose when washing that it clogs the lint filter so that it expands and clogs the drain, or water splashes from the top of the filter high into the air and destroys the floor wet.

I know it's too late to return these mats but if I could I certainly would. I was running up and down the stairs every 5 minutes, yes 5 minutes, to check those rugs in the dryer. This is to prevent the fluff filter from becoming so full that a fire could break out! There was so much lint in the laundry tubs where the washing machine drains I could weave a new rug! The lint filter fills up every 5 minutes, my floor is full of carpet lint. It's amazing there's still some left! I am washing it for
