I like that the wheels retract and the swivel mechanism is lubricated to make it easier to remove or insert the wheels. Rated at 400 pounds each, they allow me to sit at my desk to do maintenance even with the stuff on top.

High Quality, used on a custom cast iron router table I built. I was a little skeptical at first but nothing more, rolls perfectly, smoothly and evenly and once you engage the footpegs, solidly stable, no movement or slipping, you are more likely to tip the entire case over before the casters give way to the ground . I will buy more of these.

My garage floor is sloped to allow water to drain through the garage door, which requires some sort of adjustable foot to level my desk. These casters make it easy for me to level my table and if I ever want to move it, just put it back on the wheels and roll.

They are not designed for frequent driving. They are optimized to balance the load and create a solid base on the ground. The only "locking" mechanism is when you rotate the leveling mechanism to push the pads to the floor (with the wheels off the floor). For an application where you rarely but definitely need to move a heavy load around your shop, this is the perfect product. We used the 2x4 to raise the bench to lighten the weight before turning on the leveling mechanism. This makes it much…
