Faulty readings, not worth it

As my tests showed this sensor consistently gave incorrect temperature readings and caused my vehicle to overheat... The only positive is that it was easy to install. However, the potential damage to your engine is not worth the cost of this product..

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Faulty temperature readings

Reading was far away.

Replaced by OEM after 200,000 uses. I also did the thermostat and pipes. I haven't had any problems with overheating. Replaced the temp sensor with this part and my fans continued to work. I looked at my OBD2 log and my temp showed 240 degrees with the fan on. Before the machine 212 ran. I replaced the sensor with my original 200k and the readings again matched what they used to run before the job was done. Water coolant and time to diagnose a faulty new product. * ASE Master certified Tech

Pros
  • Precisely designed to ensure a reliable electrical connection when the engine is subjected to changing temperatures and vibration.
Cons
  • High price
