Works well when no power-hungry drives are connected

I use this hub with my laptop to connect two USB security modules, a wireless mouse receiver and a USB flash drive. It works great for my needs. Although it does have some power, the product description warns that some drives that draw a lot of power may not be compatible with this hub, so keep that in mind. It doesn't concern me, so I have no problems with this hub. Transferring from a USB drive is about as fast as if I plugged the drive directly into my laptop. Nice little USB-A hub.

Pros
  • USB HUB: Instantly add four USB 3.0 ports to your iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro/Mini, Surface Pro, XPS, laptop, portable hard drive and more. . loading supported.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Little Hub Best in Computers & Accessories

I think this hub is a really good buy. It's perfect for laptops or even desktops that want to reduce clutter. The size of the hub and USB-C cable are ideal for most applications. This reduces the number of cables and the need to manage them. It is compact and has a minimalist design. I also like how it looks. It's a simple plug and play device. No drivers or applications to install. During use, it generates a negligible amount of heat. You really can't touch it. The processing is very good and…

Pros
  • Excellent Compatibility: Compatible with Windows 10/8/8. 1/7/Vista/XP and Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS. (The USB 3.0 hub is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.)
Cons
  • Hard to say

This is a nice little and well-made USB Type-C hub. It connects to the device's USB-C upstream port (female) and has four USB-A 3.0 inputs (female ). - Ethernet dongle and USB stick. Everything worked great and without any problems. What I really liked was my Tivo Stream. The Stream is a great little Android TV device, but its downside is that it doesn't have enough storage space. When I tried to add HBO Max I had to uninstall other apps I wanted to use. A Google search later showed that I…
