Never Used, Too Heavy

When I opened the package and lifted the cleaver I found it much too heavy for me. Item is being returned. That's my review.

Nice knife, handle needs work.

Nice heavy knife and sharp. Nothing to dislike.! Wood on the handles do not fully fit the metal end cap, so the handle feels a little uneven.

broken blade best in my review

nothing makes happier then having a good knife in the kitchen I bought knife and like the handle and the feeling in the knife but I was trying to cut some chicken legs off a whole chicken and when went to cut through a tended I end up chipping off a very large piece of the blade I was not apply a lot of purse to cut the area of the chicken leg. Must of been a bad temper I do not think ill get my money back on this one so I'm calling it total lose.

Good but can be better with a lil more finishing

Top of blade is not rounded off to dull the 90° angles. When you have to do alot of chopping leads to sore hand and blisters. Also found pitting in the metal near the handle. Back of metal tang on handle has fine burs. I had to take it to work to fix all these misses. But cuts well.

Rusts Very Easily in my review

Looks nice and works well, but it rusts super easily, and the wood handle is not very smooth, lots of burrs. That's my feedback.

you get what you pay for, if you like good quality things, look for something else.

the handle is not flush with the metal back peace which catches the palm of your hand and can rip skin if you're not careful =. you get what you pay for, if you like good quality things, look for something else. I retuned it after 10 min of using it.

Amazing blade for the money.

Excellent blade. Comes pre-sharpened to near razor sharpness. Good weight and balance. Just an overall excellent item.

Does what it's supposed to do

It's an overall great cleaver for the price. It came nicely sharpened, and in good condition. The only thing is that it's much lighter than I expected, so the only downside is having to put in a bit more elbow grease when chopping meat, thick veggies (like a head of cabbage), or cutting through chicken bones. But other than that, I'm very satisfied with it

You get what you pay for

It was delivered in 2 days. It is exactly as the online description as far as looks. It feels just right on the hand. It is lighter than I would have wanted it to be so I'm not sure if it can chop bones which what I will be using it for primarily: for soup bones.

Bad handle craftsmanship

The handle where it meets the metal tang are not the same size the metal is just slightly larger and every time you move your hand up or down the handle it scrapes your fingers very poor handle construction most definitely would not recommend purchasing this product
