Handle size perfect in width and length. The size of the hammer head is also ideal. You don't spoil the meat by tenderizing and thinning it out. I've had others that didn't work at all. The aluminum didn't clean well after a few washes and the hammer, while larger, didn't do the job I wanted.

We used this to flatten boneless chicken breasts. The handle fell apart on the second use. It's not a solid shank from the base to the point where it meets the hammer head. This is exactly what happens when a company tries to save raw materials. Luckily we didn't swing a lot, otherwise it could have been a costly accident. There is no reason to sell this product, it should be withdrawn from the market.
