Bad strips do not respond. Bad party.?

I bought these strips because they looked very professional. And they got good reviews from reviewers. Few were dissatisfied with them, but they were extremely dissatisfied. So I bring the strips home and start testing. The value has not changed for several days. So I was trying to figure out what on earth I could use to actually trigger a reaction to the stripes. The strips seem to be working fine. BTW

Strips work properly; no complaints. I like how they fit in the bottle, they work well when you take one out. Incidentally, even with good eating habits, I've had a consistent pH of just under 6, probably because I've had bad habits for years. I've recently started drinking about 1/4 cup of water with a pinch of baking soda or spirulina powder (wholesale from a health food store) or Amazing Grass Organic Wheatgrass Powder or NOW Coral Calcium Powder. Not accurate at all - CAUTION

Bladder problems and stones. I noticed that the readings were always the same and found this odd since the pH of human and dog urine changes slightly throughout the day.
