Need to connect speakers? That's your best bet

My speaker system came with speaker wire that was brittle and eventually broke. This cable is very easy to learn and much easier to use. He's a bit tough so I would help by trying to manipulate him too much. For a newbie like me, I can easily use my home theater with it

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Excellent cable sold as a single speaker cable

Good quality cable and well made. It would be nice if they made an audiophile version as well, but this is one of the best budget cables you can buy. The description requires details. You buy ONE speaker cable. Thought I'd buy two and couldn't figure out how many are in the set. I just ordered a second one.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

Fantastic value for money in speaker cable

I bought all of the Mediabridge cables for my new system and these cables look the same to me as my new system. The build quality is excellent, the materials are excellent, they look great. I'm so glad I went with them. Very strong 12 gauge cable. They will last a lifetime. I will continue to buy all my cables from Mediabridge. Hello quality, fair prices. Better than I expected, for sure!

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Easy connection, looks and sounds better than what I used

It's nice to see the price. I'm about 70 years old and probably haven't heard the difference between these and a pair that cost ten times more. I am using a 30 year old NAD 1740 receiver with a pair of Jamuo Coronet 40 bookshelf speakers in position A and a pair of Excel Energy speakers in position B. I have the switch set to A and B. If not a true music lover or want to become, should be fine.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Annoying

Defective right away

I bought this 18ft speaker cable and it defected instantly. I used my multimeter to check for continuity and there was none on the red wire. I had to trim the wires a bit, so I cut the spades off each end and found that one of the ends was never soldered at the factory. This speaks volumes about the quality control (or lack thereof) at Mediabridge. I will not buy their products again, I can tell you that. Purchase at your own risk.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Only available in black

Bulky, with little wire. Soldering errors when looking for problems.

Prologue: I have stage 4 terminal cancer and I am alone. I needed an environmental management tool next to my bed. Bought these cables to connect expensive Klipsch speakers. The ends were screwed on (which is normal) but when I was having trouble with the sound I examined the ends and found that the soldering was broken. WTF, should be HIGH END wire and found broken solder, small wire gauge. Well isolated which is great but HIGH END cables are NOT RECOMMENDED Mike (Forgotten Trail)

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Speed of work

Great cables but be aware spades are big

You may be wondering why I cut the cable. My AVR doesn't accept spade lugs, but I wanted to use spade lugs on the speakers as they protrude less. I couldn't find any cheap spatula/banana combo leads so I just cut the end off and exposed the wires to the AVR. As you can see, the shell is thick. The wiring is copper with a large number of strands (true 12 AWG). The blades are soldered to the wiring. You may have an issue with the scoop size - dimensions are shown in the product photos, so check…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Nothing
