Description of Mediabridge ULTRA Subwoofer Cable Feet Accessories & Supplies in Cables

Ideal for connecting subwoofer speakers to audio components, such as stereo receivers or sound systems, while offering excellent bass response and flexibility. Low-loss, wide spectrum coaxial cable great for the low-frequency signals produced by subwoofers, allowing for deep and precise audio quality. A split-tip center pin ensures high contact pressure and signal strength, while unique gripped molding and corrosion-resistant gold-plated RCA connectors provide a consistently tighter fit than commonly rolled cables with wider tolerances. A copper clad center conductor, dielectric insulation, aluminum braiding and 2 layers of foil shielding, for maximum protection against the hum/static encountered when multiple devices are in close proximity of each other. The cable is finished in tough, yet pliable PVC jacket with color coding, for easy routing and quick installation. This cable is backed by Mediabridge's Limited 1 Year Warranty. Includes adjustable & reusable Velcro cable strap for easy organization & storage.

Good quality audio and video accessories

Really high quality cable. I use it on a Yamaha receiver with a 400w Klipsch subwoofer. I originally bought a 25 foot cable and it wasn't long enough so it worked great with a few feet left. The connections are STRONG, I was surprised at how well they connect, it was somewhat satisfying as the first one I bought (the Differnet brand for $10) was quite fake and I ended up bending it when I did the subwoofer a little moving.

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • Long delivery time

So far, so good in the Audio & Video Accessories category

So far, so good! The cable is well made and the plugs fit perfectly. This product is of significantly better quality than those commonly sold in major hardware or electronics stores. I chose a 35 foot cable to place the subwoofer far away from the receiver. Both devices recognized each other and played flawlessly from the moment the cable was installed. I had to adjust the bass of the subwoofer and receiver to match their placement, but it was relatively easy.

Pros
  • Audio & Video Accessories
Cons
  • Availability in stock

In my experience, subwoofer cables are fairly common

This is a subwoofer cable. I'm not a hardcore music lover, bought for my Polk PSW505. Does what I expected. In my experience, subwoofer cables are pretty versatile. However, this cable came in a nice simple little brown box and Mediabridge has a cool logo on it. As a marketing consultant, I appreciate that. In any case, he does what he has to do. If you are hesitant to buy this cable and diligently read reviews of subwoofer cables: buy it and then get away from your computer and do something…

Metabridge makes good cables

This is a good subwoofer coax cable. I have a 35 foot length for an Energy powered subwoofer with an 8 inch driver. The connection is strong and stable and serves its purpose. If you have RCA connectors on the subwoofer and amp, don't try to use the RCA cables lying around, buy a cable that's rated for the subwoofer, notice the embossed cutouts on the external connector? The cable looks well made and durable enough for years of use. Diameter. Cable and plug were undamaged.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Excellent quality cable.

I have purchased many Mediabridge cables in the past and this cable was of high quality as were all the others I have purchased. I'm not an audiophile so I can't tell you if this is "the best cable in the world". I will say that this cable has quality construction. I have no issues with cable loss or noise. The connections are all solid and reliable. Works great for me. I have the receiver in my media closet about 30 feet of cable from the TV in my living room. Pulled it through the pipeline…

  • GOLS certified
Cons

HIGH QUALITY - GREAT SERVICE - GREAT PRICE - look no further

I have an "old school" stereo 4.2 audio system built primarily for quality music service. I've built it up bit by bit over the years to achieve a "voice" (sound) that I hope is accurate, clear and powerful. One of my subwoofers is an old but good Infinity which I found always provided good musical "depth" but never enough volume. Plenty of sub cables have come and gone, including the Monster (huh?), but have never been satisfied. Accidentally had to replace it for a media bridge to come in…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
