Medium Olive Wood Nativity Animals Review

Bought as a present for my mother who collects Christmas sets. she loved it. The expertly crafted parts were rustic enough to make it look handcrafted rather than machine-made.

My husband and I were gifted the same set many, many years ago and it is an integral part of our Christmas tradition. I wanted my youngest grandchildren, ages two and four, to have the same experiences as my own children growing up: getting a crib and setting it up and moving animals and people around at will every day. This is a great Christmas for anyone who wants something pretty but simple and safe for kids.

My kids got this Christmas set as a gift at my request because I wanted them to have a solid Christmas set that I could easily play with and rearrange/move around with a more durable set for that purpose (maybe a larger set from this company or one of the sets from Haba). Whilst the set is VERY pretty I don't think it is strong enough to be used as a children's set unless the children are perhaps much older and can be very gentle (in which case even delicate materials would be acceptable).
