MEECO'S RED DEVIL 4oz High-Performance Black Stove Polish Review

This product is ok, it stained my oven but it wasn't as dark and smooth as I expected. In the end it turned out that I didn't do anything with my wood stove. Please read the instructions and the first fire after you have finished your stove, do it outside as it will smoke a lot.

Looks like a good product, it works easily and smoothly. Don't forget to wear gloves. I have used them on gas stove flame rings. I tried many levels but didn't get the desired result. The grid worked quite well. Although initially they were in good condition. Any suggestions from the manufacturer on this issue?

I was a bit skeptical when I realized how small the jar is but not much is enough. I was so excited to try it that I forgot to take a picture beforehand. I was able to find a picture of the oven from earlier. You can't see how dry and discolored the upper was, there was a huge improvement after that. The smell wasn't that bad, I just opened the window a bit. I wasn't sure if I should build a chimney or not, so I haven't touched it yet.

I called the company to see if it contained any soy derivatives as I am allergic to soy. They were very helpful and told me there was no soy. It took me a while to get here, but I dusted my chimney and covered the grate with this coat. It worked great! Back to black light peas. I was a little worried it would smoke so I lit the stove and let it burn for an hour. I didn't smell anything at all and I'm quite sensitive to chemical smells. Highly recommended.

I actually bought this to restore a Victorian wrought iron club fender (google it) that was spray painted. Agter spent the better part of two days tearing it apart, this material was easy to apply, dries hard and gave fantastic results! I recommend two light coats, applied one immediately after the other. I have used many others but this is my favorite. The product has a creamy consistency, is easy to apply and has good coverage. I applied it to a piece of old terry towel in a circular motion and let it dry. It says polish with a clean cloth but I had no luck with that so I gave up. I lit the stove, it didn't smell (this is important to me) and the color was pleasant, evenly black. The slight swirl marks I left behind are gone.
