Love these eggs for my 5 year old. He spends a lot of time on it, it gets his attention, and every time he gives me a little break it's a hit. They are dirty, so it is best to open them from the outside or on a hard floor.

My kid only opened one. The green egg was really slimy. Please make sure you have water nearby to remove the slime from the chunks before building. (We made that mistake). A toothpick will help remove mucus from the joints.

This 2 piece set is great for a surprise birthday invitation. They come nicely packaged and ready for packaging. My baby loves his breakthrough beast and slime roughness.

The eggs, while whimsical, don't have the utility or function of Series 1 through 4 eggs, which had studs and could be used on carpets to make baseplates (ones that can fit rocks in studs outside and inside ) of the floor - safe and for displaying animals either standing or with a stick and stone combination.
