🏗️ Mega Construx Forerunner Installation Building Set Review

I built one and was amazed by its simple beauty and figured why stop there? Why do I need a piece of a ring when I can make a whole ring? I've started making a full ring, in the photo I have 2 sets together, I'm working on buying more to make a full ring. I believe it will take 5 sets in total. All in all this is now one of my favorite Halo sets, I'm very happy with how it turned out. I think this is one of the few times I can say "I would buy again" and really mean it!

Although this is my third MEGAconstrux set, I have built many LEGO sets of varying complexity and size. That being said, I've had way too many problems building this set for the wrong reasons. From the incorrectly painted parts (Figs. 1 and 4) to the incorrect number of parts included (Figs. 2 and 3), I did not enjoy putting this set together. I searched for a full twenty minutes, once searching the bottom part in picture 2 and another time searching the top part in picture 3, only to find that

it is beautiful. Definitely worth buying 5 to make a complete ring. I immediately bought 5 because I knew I was going to make a full ring. Now I can do it with the 4 sets I've seen, but that's too much of a strain, while using a full 5th set, like mine, is too much and can break out with some pressure (so it can be tricky be). ). It's best to use 4 full sets and one or two of the 3 square sections from the 5th set. I just did all three parts of the 5th for even distribution across the landscape
