🌑 Meguiar’s Black Wax, 7 oz - G6207 Review

AMAZING! My father has a black 2003 Cadillac. He used a different wax, but the result is ok. View results. A word of caution. It doesn't take much for adequate coverage. Allow the wax to soak in and harden - at least 1 hour. My father made the mistake of polishing after 10 minutes. I had to spend another hour sanding down to a glass finish. Much easier if he let it sit.

Putting that wax in a foil tube is the worst idea Meguiar's could have come up with. It separates very easily during storage, and if placed on the lid or laid on its side, the oil will come out after separation. You can count on. Unlike a plastic tube, it cannot contain extra air to shake and mix, and you cannot manually move it in the tube to mix again. It basically means that you will use it when you first get it and then get frustrated with the mess and throw it away for something better.

This is a very good quality wax. It applies very well and, once dry, washes off easily to a matte finish. I can't say it covered chips or scratches, but since the wax was originally dark (dark grey) it didn't look as white as other waxes when it dried. For this reason alone, my car polish now has a darker, richer shine than other light-colored car waxes I've used in the past. This is a delicate wax that really moisturizes dry looking nail polish. You will need a topper like Ultimate Wax or Turtle Wax Ice.
