Commonly used T-slot bits and good value for money.

Good value for money considering you get the 2 most commonly used T-slot bits for woodworking projects. Expect to use it a lot too.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great t-slot bits for edging and grooving

I bought these bits to make t-slots on my table saw and other tools myself. I used a 1/4" bit after first cutting a 1/4" wide slot and then using a 1/4" bit to cut the wings. When I tried just the bit to use to cut both parts of the T-slot, the piecework wandered. The slot fits the head of a 1/4 x 20 hex screw, or you can set the router to make a slot for T-screws (eg. B. toilet seat screws). The bits appear to be reasonably sharp and well made.

Pros
  • Milling machine parts and accessories
Cons
  • Drill kit

Works well, but get rid of the waste first.

These T bits work well. So far I've only used the larger of the two in the set. They're lightweight, so I'd be afraid to make a full cut in hardwood without first going through the work piece with a skirting board to get rid of most of the waste. I did this. First I fed the hardwood material through a stack of slots matched to the width of the router shank to remove most of the scrap so that after I fed it through the T-bit the router only had to remove the inside . Percentage of waste in "T"…

Pros
  • Bits for edging and grooving
Cons
  • Small parts
