Wide-angle and fast lens with a good price-performance ratio

Good value lens. Focus is sharp and overall good image quality. There's a barrel distortion, possibly due to the fact that it's wide.

Pros
  • Wide-angle lens for landscape, product and portrait photography
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Inexpensive manual lens for Fuji and similar crop-sensor mirrorless cameras. It's quite sharp in the middle, adequate on the inside. corners. You get what you pay for. If you don't mind focusing manually then this is a great value.

Pros
  • 35mm fixed focal length, wide-angle lens. The f/1.4-16 maximum aperture gives a soft bokeh, suitable for close-ups/portraits
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Great manual lens, nice bokeh

Meike lenses are impressive. While they deliver crisp, vibrant images, I think they have a certain nostalgia about them. Maybe it's because you learned to focus manually, aided by the incredible capabilities of the Fujifilm X cameras, but it reminds me of using a Nikon F in the 1970s and the brilliant clarity. I definitely recommend Mike.

Pros
  • Lens not attached: MANUAL LENS requires you to enable 'M mode' or exit without lens in camera settings
Cons
  • Lots of things

Pictures = good, focus/aperture rings = bad.

Pros: Affordable, fairly sharp images, good bokeh. Cons: Aperture and focus rings feel rough/scratchy, no snap-on aperture ring means it's very easy to accidentally change aperture without intention. Have fun with this lens. If it was €300 I would have sent it back but for the price it's a keeper. The focus and aperture rings seem pretty rough, I won't lie like they have dirt and particles or something, and I really wish the aperture ring had a click so you can't accidentally move it while…
