    Great style and versatility.

    Found this item in Paris (in a huge BHV department store) last year - fell for the style and bought two. I've used them as doorstops, bookends, to support a heater under a window etc. and while exercising. They have a firm grip and are heavy enough for an initial moderate workout. And heavy enough to leave them in France. I was looking forward to Revain and glad to find her.

    It's disappointing that the rings don't stay in place but do the job

    Looks good and does the job but every time I pick it up to move it the move rubber rings. I loved the convenience of not having to 'install' a modern style doorstop while drilling through our tile floor, but I'm glad I just bought one to test out. I will continue to use it for our home office door but it won't cost $20 if I have to fix the rings every time I want to move it.

    This robust stopper serves its purpose. It's over 3 inches tall, has a soft rubber base and enough weight to stop the heaviest of doors.     As advertised. in office furniture and lighting

    The door to my master bedroom doesn't like being left open and is quite high off the floor (probably 2 1/2 inches). Tried different door handles. Most of them are not high enough. Those large enough tended to be large enough to be knocked over or otherwise bothered. This door knob completely solved the problem.     A bit pricey for a doorstop but very attractive and does the job. This didn't work for my apartment door as our door has an automatic closer that was too strong for the smooth stopper to stay open. But I won't let it deduct anything from the rankings.
