The toy bench was a Christmas present for our grandson but we decided not to give it to him for Christmas as he had so many toys. Instead, it was handed over to him at the end of January. I bought this for my grandson's 4th birthday because he loves to play with the 30 year old Fisher Price workbench I have at home. You have to hammer in two nails, that's his favorite pastime. They are very strong and difficult to remove. You can't pry them out with the back of a hammer because even nails won't fit in the slot. (Fisher-Price was brilliant with these details.) I am a craftsman and always have tools and materials. It was only natural that my son would be interested in my screwdrivers, hammers and wrenches.
