Organize & Preserve: Melissa Doug Wooden Puzzle Storage Solution Review

I have bought several of these puzzles over the last few years - they are great! All my grandchildren had dice like this. The cubes stand on their own wooden base, neat and stackable. Grandmothers really have fun putting together each picture puzzle and I enjoyed doing it with them! They also love stacking blocks! Great gift!

I'm a 100% fan of Melissa and Doug since I work as a teacher. but this article. does not meet his standards. instantly. The stickers are coming off! I have personally had so many Melissa and Doug pieces and this one has not stood the test of time in less than a month, the stickers were peeling off and I had to use glue to attach it myself!

I like that it's 6 puzzles in one. This is a challenging task for kids who love puzzles! However, I was so disappointed with the quality of the wood block decals. They keep peeling off and I have to tape the edges to keep the designs on the cubes. Knowing that the dice will flip A LOT because it's six puzzles, I'm surprised Melissa and Doug didn't solve this problem. I love their products but this one is not up to par.

Absolutely terrible quality! We just received it and are using it for the first time. We only did 3 pages out of 6 and I can say it won't take 2 weeks. Images are stickers that are stuck onto blocks. Each block has 6 stickers. Came crumpled and already peeling (see photo). Others start peeling when my child gently turns the pad in their hands to find the right side. I expect better quality from Melissa & Doug. This item is too expensive for this quality.

The blocks are really sharp. I bought this for my 2 year old daughter and regretted it a bit when she dropped it on my leg. Edges are SHARP. The images on the blocks are also stickers, not printed on the blocks like I thought, so the stickers can be peeled off with a lot of effort - like a toddler would. When I first bought this product, my daughter was too young. The blocks were very strong and sharp on the edges, made of solid wood. I was afraid she would get hurt. Fast forward to now, she's 2 years old and in love with these blocks. She folds them and then throws them over a thousand times, she never gets bored. Of course they are mainly used as puzzles but when she gets older she will use them that way too but they are perfect to put together and hit with a ball.

I bought this a month ago for my daughter who will soon be 2 and she loves to play with it (not only as a puzzle but also as building blocks). Although the quality control could be better. There are a few blocks that have parts of another animal on the same side, making the finished painting look a bit off. My daughter got used to it and no longer has any problems with it. The second issue is that some of the pictures on the blocks have flaps that are hanging so I have to bend them every now…

Very disappointed with it! My older kids had them when they were younger. They were given to us, used and my children really liked them. The children grew up, got rid of them. And now I have a 2 year old child many years later. I bought them because I remembered how funny they were. Well, the quality has gone down. 10 years ago the ones we had had the images glued/pressed firmly onto the clock on each side of the block. Now it's just one sticker on each side of the block.
