This coffee maker didn't suit us. We love strong coffee and for that we had to add more coffee. This caused the shopping cart to overflow.

This is a cute little coffee maker perfect for one person! I love Melitta coffee machines! My last Melitta coffee machine lasted 13 years. Hope this one works and lasts as long.

As expected. The only tiny problem is dripping around the wide opening. Luckily, my carafe from the (annually) defunct Mr. Coffee works with this one too, with fewer drips. But really not a big problem. Very glad there is a coffee maker that knows how to brew good coffee and not just quick and weak coffee like most here. Also, stainless steel doesn't pick up fingerprints as quickly as I feared.

I used to have a Melitta coffee machine, but it recently died after 32 years of operation. I've thought about buying a model that has more features, but after 32 years of service, it's difficult to buy another. So although I wanted a coffee maker that would fit in a thermos, I decided to buy this coffee maker and buy a separate thermos. The best from both worlds! I'm very picky about my coffee. I grind beans myself and I think my Melitta makes great coffee.

I used to have a 4 cup Melitta pot that I have loved for over 15 years. This little thing made such good coffee. It's worse than Mr. Coffee. The water drains too quickly and does not stay in the basket long enough for a good brew, resulting in weak coffee. As others have pointed out, it is also ground into coffee.
