☕ Melitta Glossy White 1-Cup Porcelain Pour-Over Cone Coffeemaker Review

Looks good but the design is wrong. The coffee does not drip straight out of the hole into the pot, it drips along the rim of the cone and pot and out of the cone and down the outside (see lump on rim in picture). Looks great and is a good weight but either the design is wrong or I have a lemon.

Well the most important part of this design are the holes on the side of the base which I haven't seen anywhere else, they allow you to see how much coffee is in your mug! So you can use any size cup and there is no risk of it overflowing! very very comfortable! nice iron glaze on the outside, enough texture on the inside to hold the contained melites in place. I see filters everywhere and my mom loves them but I could only find the mount here.

I have been using Melitta Plastic liqueurs for a long time and have always been amazed at their performance. This is the third ceramic filter holder I own. Chillo did the rest. The second one didn't match filter #4 so I replaced it. This works well for #4. Cillos were heavier than Melitta and had a larger opening for the coffee to flow out. So Melitta works a little slower, but also makes stronger, better-tasting coffee.
