I am very happy with this product. I was able to hook it up to an existing ice machine water line in minutes. You should wash this filter like any other filter before use. After that, I had clear ice cubes that didn't affect the flavor of my drinks. I will definitely buy again.

These filters are mainly used for taste and smell and worked on my 5 stage reverse osmosis system. I usually change them after a year of use or sometimes a little longer and for the price I think it's worth it. For reference, I use a 3/8" line from this filter to the storage tank and then another 3/8" line to the faucet for the best flow rate.

Based on feedback we are ordering these replacement filters. They arrived quickly and were easy to install with quick couplers. It actually took longer to remove the old brass fitting filter. After reading the instructions I prepared to discard the brass fittings only to find that they weren't needed as the hose simply pushed into the coupler and didn't leak.

Need a replacement filter for my mother's water supply for her fridge. I usually buy from a local dealer, but this time I decided to give it a try. The filter is easy to install with clear instructions. After flushing the pipe and filter after installation, the water tastes great with no filter residue. No worse than expensive filters I bought. I will definitely take them again.

Installed the first of two filters tonight. It dripped at the entrance no matter what I did. I transplanted the tubing, inserted the blue clips as instructed, it was still flowing. Then I opened the other of the pair and it did the same thing - it was leaking in the intake valve. Insert the native filter that has been modified, no leaks. So at least my technique is not a problem. I will just go back to buying the original brand even though it was twice the price.

I used this to replace the last filter in my 5 stage reverse osmosis system. It was easy to install, there was no noticeable residue when flushed, and my TDS meter always showed normal readings when I tested the water. The only problem is that the OD is slightly smaller than the stock filter so it doesn't fit snugly in the plastic clip on top of the RO unit. This is not a problem in my application as it is a permanently installed household unit.

This is a really good replacement filter. The only thing that was a bit confusing was the conflicting instructions regarding the orientation of the filter. Either there was an arrow stamped on the cartridge showing which way the water was flowing, or there was a sticker instructing it to be installed the other way around. I chose the embossed arrow because it was on the original factory unit. But I think that the filter can work in both directions. Did I say this is a really good filter?

After failing to adjust it to fix the leak, I wrote the first one off as a learning experience. Second, I knew exactly what to do and it leaked out anyway. In my opinion this is a poor quality product. Plus why water flows from purple discharge. I don't want to drink purple water unless I know why it's purple.

My tap water comes out at 230ppm and the reverse osmosis water shows 0ppm on my Blue Lab meter. I bought this carbon filter set and connected it in series to water the plants. Starting with a 50 gallon RO tank with 0ppm water, I disconnected the RO from the ball valve and replaced it with this water supply.
