I love these shoes - my new review

I have rather narrow feet and these shoes often don't suit me. They seem to have been made specifically for my foot, with or without a sock, they are great. However, they probably wouldn't fit most people because they fit mine so well! My eldest son has a much wider toe box and can barely put the shoes on even though we are the same size.

    Pros
    • This is my new favorite martial arts shoe. Also suitable for toe running or walking. Love her!
    Cons
    • Suppose when choosing shoes the brand is not displayed, but now the brand is in silver.

    The barefoot hype is real.

I switched from regular shoes to these minimal shoes because I wanted to train my calves more to make them effective. The first 3 weeks were brutal, with stiffness, cramps and direct pain in the calf muscles from only about 4 miles a day. received Dr. Schools use insoles (maybe a bit of cheating) and cut them to size. Now I don't even notice I'm wearing shoes. bypassed the first lace holes to properly tie more laces. very breathable, absolutely not waterproof, also avoid wet grass or allow wet…

    Pros
    • Ideal for outdoor activities
    Cons
    • The insole slides too much backwards for my taste.

Fits like a glove! good for me

Ever since the 2012-14 Merrell Trail Glove release I've been looking for a brand of sandal shoes that fit like a glove. Finally found a shoe that looks and feels like I want it to. I just ran 10 miles out of the box and they slide on the pavement and naturally move with your foot. No unnatural arch support or thick padding. I'm very happy with it and will be ordering a second pair soon.

    Pros
    • These seem to last a long time. No material separation and good materials.
    Cons
    • It's very tight. Not recommended for wide feet.

pull the trigger in my opinion

So I have a hard time finding shoes, I'm fed up with Nike, Addias, Altras, Brooks Saucony etc. All of them gave me calf cramps after running or going to the gym. I used to wear five toe Vibram shoes which I really liked but were not ideal for lateral movements. These Inov-8s have been my favorite shoes for years, they are surprisingly good on the sides and have a thin sole but don't ache all day. I have recommended them to some of my friends, if you think about it, just buy them

    Pros
    • Use them for regular home workouts and the rowing machine. Great for towing without falling off and without too much cushioning.
    Cons
    • Limited color options

    Best for powerlifting

These shoes are great for climbing. In fact, these are slippers with laces. Very thin sole to keep you nice and close to the ground when deadlifting. The sole is very grippy, which is very helpful when working with the legs during the press. I've had them for about 11 months. I wouldn't recommend them for CrossFit or running unless you're one of those people who always do better barefoot. The sole flexes with your foot and therefore does not provide a very stable base for dynamic movements. But

    Pros
    • The lightweight construction makes the shoe easy to wear and move around in.
    Cons
    • The rubber sole can be slippery on certain surfaces.

Smart f'n gear, in my opinion

I first turned to Inov-8 when I needed something for Tough Mudder. Then I researched the technology over time. They are as light and strong as any other pair I've had. I have a wide foot with five broken metatarsal bones. They adapt well to my bumps on both feet. I give it a 10 out of 10 for durability, flexibility and comfort.

    Pros
    • Available in size 7 for the perfect fit for those with smaller feet.
    Cons
    • May be inappropriate clothing under certain conditions

    High quality training shoes!

I had the original version of the xf210s bar, it lasted 7 years! Fast forward to today and I have the v3 and they are amazing!

    Pros
    • The unique outsole design provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces and reduces the risk of injury.
    Cons
    • Lack of breathability can lead to excessive sweating and odor.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great for powerlifting

I've had these shoes for a long time. I mainly use them for deadlifts and squats. They fit exactly how I needed them after using their sizing chart. My feet don't slip at all even when I walk hard. It's a huge improvement over the Converse I wore in college and I highly recommend it. - James

    Pros
    • Hard-wearing materials ensure a long product life even after intensive training sessions.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for those who need extra stability in their shoes.

The sock is rubbish on this shoe

I felt like I was wearing pointy shoes... the little toe on those shoes is a shame on anyone who wears them. Without that part of the shoe I would have given it 5 stars but it was so disappointing.

    Pros
    • This shoe has everything I need! I use it in martial arts and its light weight perfect grip with the sole!
    Cons
    • Minimal padding can cause leg pain and discomfort.

    Great shoes! I love her!

I love these shoes, this is the second pair of inov8s I own and will continue to buy and recommend! I would also recommend getting half a size smaller than you normally wear as they seem a bit longer.

    Pros
    • The olive green gum color looks stylish and is perfect for a variety of workout looks.
    Cons
    • May cause blistering or chafing with prolonged wear.

    Not for lifting weights

I bought these shoes to wear when lifting weights. The shoes are comfortable, well made and true to size, there is a very noticeable angle to the toe. Shoes cannot stand flat on the ground. While it's good for walking or some other form of exercise, it's not ideal for lifting weights. These shoes are well made but they don't fit what I intend to use them for.

    Pros
    • Flat and fairly minimalist. Good for getting up and walking or just as casual wear. I recommend!
    Cons
    • May not provide adequate toe protection.

I love these shoes: my review

I've had four pairs of these shoes before and just can't find another shoe that can do the job. I recently reviewed a few pairs and had to return them due to sizing issues. I tried to find an alternative but nobody makes shoes as minimalist as the Inov-8. Tried again and this latest pair is a keeper. However, I had to put some fabric glue under the insole as it tended to move too much, which wasn't an issue with my original red pair. I suspect they were forced to work with other manufacturers…

    Pros
    • They fit beautifully and are true to size!
    Cons
    • Not waterproof or waterproof

My second pair in my review.

This is my second pair after the first pair of Inov8 sandals in 4 years. They are still quite usable but are beginning to show signs of wear. Any athletic shoe that lasts more than a year is worth it, 4 years is crazy. This shoe is best for squats if you don't have ankle mobility issues. They are not suitable for running as they do not absorb shock unless you know how to walk properly barefoot (without hitting your heel). I think running barefoot or in these shoes makes you stronger overall by…

    Pros
    • These shoes are exactly what I needed.
    Cons
    • Lack of arch support

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great for deadlifts and squats

I'm a flat footed earthling so to be honest these shoes are perfect for intense compound workouts. Definitely great when trying to target your stabilizing muscles on deadlifts and squats.

    Pros
    • Excellent training shoe. I have 4 pairs. They manage my rigorous training!!
    Cons
    • Limited availability in convenience stores

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Amazing... - my new review

The only other shoe brand in this barefoot category that I have experience with is Xero. My only complaint with the Xero shoes is that they are too wide for my feet and my foot slips. I don't have this problem with them. They protect my legs and make all sports movements very controlled.

    Pros
    • Great training shoes. Fits as expected
    Cons
    • It may take some time to get used to the lack of cushioning and support

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Don't order a size smaller!

The first thing I wouldn't advise is to order a size down like a lot of people at Revain recommend. If you want to wear them without socks, order your size. If you want to put socks on, go upstairs. Inov-8 are small. I ordered 12 and they fit without socks. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk about the shoes themselves. They are super light. They're also surprisingly grippy and warmer than I expected. I wouldn't wear them to shovel the road and they are breathable but I was…

    Pros
    • Yes
    Cons
    • Not suitable for colder weather or climate

    Ideal for the gym

He's pretty good on the floor, I do floor exercises with him. However, for people who wear wide shoes like me, this show may not be very comfortable. I had to order half a room more to compensate for the narrow design. If they last four months I can order another pair in a larger size; I'm 8, ordered 8.5, toes rubbing on front of shoe.

    Pros
    • Well made, comfortable, great sole. Highly recommended for strength training, light cardio, etc.
    Cons
    • Available in men's sizes only

    Review of men's sneakers Inov-8 Bare-XF 210 V3

This is the second pair I own. There's very little cushioning, so keep that in mind. I wanted a minimalist shoe and this model fits perfectly. I've been wearing Inov-8 shoes for 15 years and this model matches their other shoes.

    Pros
    • The laces are long but that's the only negative!
    Cons
    • May not be durable enough for long-term use

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Comfortable and ideal for training

A couple of minor flaws: very long laces which can unravel while running and be dangerous in the event of a fall, the front is too loose but the rear still holds up well so the shoe stays snug.

    Pros
    • I have wide feet and have been wearing Whitin's for a few months. Got a black pair of these and went from 10 to 11.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for wide feet.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Too narrow toe

I expect this shoe to have a much wider toe box. Bearfoot shoes should really allow your foot to stretch naturally. Pretty disappointed.

    Pros
    • Offers a minimalist barefoot feel while maintaining maximum mobility and balance for cross training.
    Cons
    • May be uncomfortable for those who already have foot problems or injuries.
