They are worth it for a good bike ride. They work better than a cage for a tougher ride and take pressure off your knees. They do run a little large so I think going a size smaller than normal shoes should work for most.

I bought these because a site recommended them for wider feet. I usually wear Vans or Adidas NMD's because they fit well for wider feet, so I wanted something with a similar fit (for example, I could NEVER wear a slimmer shoe like Puma's).
