Convenient and flexible

These are really good shoes. I bought these for my 10 year old son. They are easy to put on, strong but not stiff and stiff, flexible and fit well.

Pros
  • Bought as a gift and thought it was great!
Cons
  • Not as durable as other hiking shoes on the market.

High quality but high price

I bought these shoes for my daughter a few months ago and she is rough in her shoes and we live in the country. They show almost no signs of wear.

Pros
  • Bought for my son and he loves them. They seem to be of good quality and have excellent traction for different weather conditions.
Cons
  • They ran a lot less than the ones we already had. Marked as wide but were very narrow. Maybe we have seconds

Bad smell - my opinion

Unfortunately, after a month, the smell appeared. We have never had a problem with the smell of leather shoes. I'm afraid it was leather.

Pros
  • Breathable mesh upper keeps feet cool and dry
Cons
  • Can be prone to slipping on wet or muddy roads.

The fabric ripped at my review.

Merrells are generally sturdy and my son travels well. But after a short time, the fabric around the ankle of both shoes tore in several places.

Pros
  • Very good walking shoes! My son wears them on one of the Smoky Mountain trails and loves them! Very comfortable and well made
Cons
  • May be too narrow for people with wider feet.

Great shoes. My son has wide feet.

This is our second pair ordered. My son has wide feet and wears a lot of shoes. They held and fitted his feet well. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Durable shoes in trendy colors. Withstands heavy wear well.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate cushioning for people with foot problems.

Don't buy these shoes, they won't last!

I bought these shoes for my grandson and they didn't last long at all as you can see from the photos. He wore them for 2 months and this is what is left of the sneakers after such a short time.

Pros
  • My son says it's comfortable.
Cons
  • The outsole can wear out quickly with frequent use.

Great for kids!

My son wears shoes on the wrong side and although he has only had them for a few weeks I know that Merrell will hold up better than cheap shoes from a big store that only lasted 2 months to have . He loves the look, the feel and how easy it is to put them on as the laces don't tie!

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelery
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Never disappointed with Merrell shoes

I have bought several Merrell shoes and they are as comfortable as running shoes but last a lot longer. They endure a lot of rough treatment from children. Bought this for my son and he loves it. Bought another pair in pink for my daughter and she loves them too. I'm a fan!

Pros
  • Girls
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Nearly perfect

Cute, inexpensive, light and the sock was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. The only issue for me was the thinness of the insole. I may have been spoiled by the other pairs I have, walking in this pair made me feel like I was touching the ground barefoot. By the way, there is no supinator. For the price, this is a real bargain.

Pros
  • Walking shoes
Cons
  • No instructions
