Incredible value! About Networking Products

I am an IT professional with over 20 years of networking experience (wired and wireless) in the enterprise industry. I recently moved into a new house and installed 1000Mbps internet service from AT&T. The tech had to install the router in my downstairs kitchen, which is about 8 walls down from my upstairs office on the opposite side of the house. Needless to say, WiFi coverage in my office was pretty poor even with a 1200ac WiFi router. I usually gravitate towards well-established companies…

Better than my $500 router!

I chose this router to compare to my recently purchased $500 router (Linksys Velop) which I received during Black Friday. Not being completely happy with this purchase, I decided to give the MeshForce M3 a try! Judging by the reviews, many people are happy with a mesh router in this price range right now, so why not try it yourself? I have to say that I am more than satisfied with this router in almost every way. ! It outperforms my expensive router in every way. The MyMesh app is easy to use…

Cons
  • Long time

Everything seems to be connected to the internet these days. We have cell phones, smart speakers, video streaming, security cameras, computers and thermostats. Just to name a few. Dead zones and weak signals bother my network despite using expensive high-end conventional WiFi routers. I was skeptical about mesh WiFi solutions, but no more. It was the easiest installation and setup I've ever done. The hardest part was getting under and behind the table and shelves where I found my three M3s to…

Sorta works on mesh products

I bought this product because I posted the product on Facebook with the promise of a full refund and keeping the product if I give a 5 star rating. The Meshforce system was easy to set up with an app I downloaded from the Android Play Store. The firmware was updated immediately and I adjusted the system settings to my needs. The system settings did not allow separate dual-band network settings with different names for 2.4 or 5 GHz designations. The network only assigns a name and then…

Good access point for a low price

I was comparing a Mesh Force device side-by-side with my Unifi AC-PRO and to be honest overall I'm impressed with Meshforce. I've had it up and running for about a week now and have cast multiple devices to it including my phone and haven't noticed any issues. When I run speed tests (fast.com) I find reasonable limits since I live in an apartment and don't have devices that can work at full speed. but it was consistently 50+ Mbps faster than my Unifi. I wouldn't say that's a huge difference…
