I chose this router to compare to my recently purchased $500 router (Linksys Velop) which I received during Black Friday. Not being completely happy with this purchase, I decided to give the MeshForce M3 a try! Judging by the reviews, many people are happy with a mesh router in this price range right now, so why not try it yourself? I have to say that I am more than satisfied with this router in almost every way. ! It outperforms my expensive router in every way. The MyMesh app is easy to use and very fast/stable. It offers all the usual settings for bridge mode, static mode, PPPoE, DHCP, etc. Guest WiFi is easy to set up and offers network separation. I can see all connected devices at a glance. I can deactivate/reactivate devices. Put the devices in a separate policy (parental controls), etc. I placed 3 mesh routers on each floor of my 3 story house. One in the basement, one in the family room and one in the guest room. The cover is seamless and durable. I have absolutely no problem hopping from one router to another when moving from floor to floor and doing connectivity tests. I have a 200Mbps connection through Verizon FIOS. Wired devices averaged 290 Mbps, while each wireless test showed speeds between 190 and 240 Mbps. I'M HAPPY! This router is definitely worth the money considering the price and features.
