Recommended if precision means everything to you

Very accurate. Recommended if accuracy is everything to you! Calibrate at least twice a month with daily use and buy a sensor storage solution! No additional storage solution is included, but you get something, plus the extra 4.01 and 7.01 buffers, and you're good to go for a while! All electrodes are very fragile, including this one, so keep them in your hands. carefully near a sink or hard surface. It is highly recommended to use a pH drop test kit to check the pH when you receive the device…

From disappointment to satisfaction

Daily operation of the meter has been fine so far, 5 days to two months. However, I am very disappointed that less than two months have passed since the auto-off function did not work. A moment after the display shows Shutdown, the counter starts again at number 437 and returns to ph, regardless of what was measured before the shutdown and subsequent restart. Currently the only way to turn off the meter is to remove the battery. Strangely enough, the company advertises an automatic switch-off…

Constant problems especially with a high priced item

When I received the combometer I found that the pH sensor was not attached properly and the solution that kept the sensor active and 'alive' basically leaked and dried out in a salt coating around the cap. According to the Bluelab website, once the probe dries out, it can become permanently damaged, causing it to "die." After learning that an incorrectly processed pH probe had been sent to me, I started looking for a replacement and found many reviews going back a few years describing the same…

BlueLab METCOM is a near perfect tool (at least in the short term). He does what is expected of him, within his limits. BlueLab doesn't claim that this is more or less than what it offers. The PH seems to be very accurate. I calibrate frequently and never seem to need it, although the sensors are in a nutrient reservoir 24/7 (I give the sensor a Kcl solution about a day a week to keep it healthy). The TDS meter is fine for its intended purpose - nutrient solution maintenance, but it is not…

updated. The rating says it all.

Updated. I upgraded to 5 stars because the first gauge sent to me was not calibrated. I started a return and the company sent me another meter very quickly and without question. I love the counter but the customer service is even better. I would really like this counter if not for 3 reasons. #1. No probe care kit or storage kit is provided. You have to buy these things, and they all have to be made by Bluelabs. For the price, it should come with a small maintenance kit and an extra storage and…

Just bought so far so good.

I have had a Nutradip 3m gauge for the last 5 years and have been really trying to find a gauge that matches PAR and how reliable and accurate it is in time. This unit has the same sensor as my previous one so I bought it. Yesterday, out of the box PH calibration was incredibly easy and it reads quickly with no drift or long readings. The EC/PPM/Temp meter is accurate, but I have to admit I'm a little disappointed with how many jumps up and down around the correct reading (refers to another PPM
