Won't hold on to towing objects or winches

I used it once in the bay and it was great. Then the next time I tried to open it, it got stuck in the locked position. Luckily it wasn't attached to the trailer hitch at the time.

Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Locking part works with Yakima grub screw!

I use the mounting end of this part as a pin for a Yakima bike rack. It fits perfectly and works better than the cheap $30 plastic Yakima locks. I am very happy with it so far!

Perfect for my simple needs!

I bought this to fit a fender on my 2011 Honda CR-V and so far so good. I didn't know what size pin my hitch needed, so I'm glad there are two pin sizes. Easy to use and seems to be holding up for now.

  • Only available in white

Works perfectly. quality material. 2 for the price of 1

The seller delivered extremely quickly. Great that both standard sizes are included in the package. I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. It outperforms devices from bigger brands.

CAN'T UNLOCK AFTER 5 MONTHS!

5 months later I couldn't unlock it! I'm not sure if it was weathered (rain/snow) in winter, but I couldn't unlock it in spring. Even used wd-40 and pliers. All that was done was get the key out. As a result, I had to cut it (which, by the way, is not difficult at all). Aggravating!

Cons
  • Expensive

Suitable for towing

Suitable for towing but the lock will be difficult to remove. You really have to turn the key to release it. I've kept it under wraps and it's only been in my car for a few months. I'll try lubricating it and let you know if that eases the tension. Also doesn't click every time I turn the lock on. Overall, I'm glad I bought this.

Mix feelings with this hitch bolt lock.

I wanted a wrench to secure the hitch bolt thinking it might be safer (gut feeling). However, this pen has a rubber seal that matches the size of my 1/2 inch pen. The gasket comes off easily and I'm sure I'll lose the gasket. I believe that without a seal the security of the lock can be compromised.

You must get it! - Coupling locks

So I have a truck and I usually tow the boat to go fishing on the lake. One day I went fishing and found that someone had stolen my hook. I was very angry! So I bought another one then I had to go abroad so I had my friend service my truck. When I came back I noticed the hitch was slipping, he said he didn't know what happened to it. I was very angry again. So I moved abroad and bought this beautiful towbar because of its performance and because I have a black truck the black towbar was…
