It worked nothing to say other than that it seemed of decent quality to fit converting a Subaru plug to a more typical universal FM modulator antenna plug.

There is only one of the wires in the package, although the product description indicates a set, and there are two wires in the photo. Now I have to postpone the installation until I get the second wire.

This was NOT wired to the stereo in my 2005 Subaru Outback LLBean Edition station wagon. I was able to save the situation by cutting off the ends of the plastic connectors and connecting the center conductor to the stereo end and antenna cable end. I then had a standard antenna connector that I could use to install the FM modulator I bought for this car. Annoying, but it works.

Works very well, connects with no problems, sends signal to my iSimple FM modulator. Four stars because they are quite short and the rubber grommet on one of the plugs kept sliding down the cable making it difficult to connect and disconnect. However, these are minor and situation-specific issues. If you just need some adapters, they should work just fine.

I hooked this up in my 2006 Subaru Outback. The whole process took about an hour, even with the fact that I drilled a hole for the toggle switch. I have an Outback that has the radio and air conditioning combined in one unit and they say it's almost impossible to just install the main unit, so I went with it. The result is much cheaper and very simple. I had to splice a wire to find power, but I looked online and found which power wire was on the factory harness behind the dash. Sounds great…
