Metra 70 7005 Wiring Harness Mitsubishi Review

Great wiring harness works great on a 2016 Outlander. The funny thing is I didn't listen to the seller who said it wouldn't work. I did a lot of research and matched the candles and then ordered them anyway. The only thing is that it should have different control cables and USB harness. It also arrived fairly quickly within a few days.

Metra - PLEASE add wires to pin 9 and 19 (or whatever is needed) so we do NOT have to cut the factory wires. It works but only gave 2 stars as they don't supply any extra wires so the buyer doesn't have to cut the factory wires and potentially void their car's warranty. Put 2-3 wires in the bag as spares if you're not sure which wires to connect, or sell the entire harness and charge me a little more so I can make a decision.

Excellent wiring harness. As promised it fitted our car model exactly (we had a 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander) and the bag it came in had a helpful list of each cable's function which was very helpful during installation. For the most part, all of the wires were the same color as our aftermarket radio, but one exception was that the wire harness had an orange low/highlight wire, while the wire I connected it to in the aftermarket radio was orange and white was. never mind Excellent purchase.

Wiring harness arrived quickly and seemed easy to install. Plugged everything in and booted the car back up only to find there was no sound coming out of the woofer. I did what any experienced technician would do and diagnosed the problem. Disassembled the dashboard, checked the wiring and reassembled. I took a multimeter to make sure the main unit was getting power. I checked and replaced the amp and radio fuse only to end up pulling out the dash a third time and rechecking the wiring before…
