Fits Factory Suspension

Fits Factory Suspension 2006 Chevrolet Impala LS. I highly recommend buying a wiring harness rather than splicing the wires to the factory wiring harness mainly because it looks professional, it's less work because it plugs in and works, and if you decide to sell the car you can remove the installed system. killer and put them. to another vehicle and sell the car with a vintage Walmart music system.

Required change!

Warning: Only works with speakers with small spade lugs. I had to cut off the original jack connectors and replace them with standard sized connectors to fit my 6.5" Rockford Fosgate speakers which were a direct replacement for my GM truck. The GM end fit into the existing wiring harness but I could just cut those off and use the spade terminals I was using anyway, it would have saved me some money!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Crew Silverado 2006. Works fine

Works as it should, bought 6 or 8 pairs of these parts. I have many different speaker configurations and with them I can turn them on and off with just one clamp without cutting the factory wires. Fits my 2006 Silverado team that had a Bose system, but with Metra I bypassed the entire Bose system with no factory cut cables and I can reset everything if I ever need it.

Pros
  • Works hands free
Cons
  • Something else

What should have taken all day ended up taking 20 minutes instead.

What could become an all day mess - cutting and splicing factory wiring - is NOT my idea of a good time - especially when you're trying to keep your collector car as OEM as possible - boys saved me from this - unplugged original Bose OEM speakers - installed kickers set - bada bing - bada boom - snapped on - plug pressed onto kicker - kicker screwed on - 10 minutes aside - done. no cutting/no splicing + "if" - god forbid - I want to go back to OEM speakers - I can - without further damage to…

Not suitable! good for speaker harnesses

As usual with Revain's useless "search" function, search "Chevrolet speaker harness" and get this, GM speaker harness. Okay, GM and Chevy are practically the same. However, it will NOT fit the 2019 Chevy Silverado. To be honest I don't know why I don't use Revain anymore. It NEVER searches for what you type, and their promotional results only consider 1 keyword in your search term, returning pages of useless, unrelated products that you don't want or need. And if you somehow manage to find the…

Speakers sound awful

So I had some good 16 AWG wire connected directly to my aftermarket speakers. They were so powerful but there was so much bass the wires didn't hold up so I bought them to use the ends to fit snugly around my speakers. I connected the wires and connected them directly to my 16 AWG wires and then to the speakers. Now my speakers sound like garbage. I'm losing the head I had before and the speakers sound flat just by adding this cable. I lost half the quality of my speakers with these wires. I…

WORTH THE WEIGHT OF GOLD!

Seriously, replacing the factory speakers in a GM car saves you a headache! Check the equipment for your specific vehicle. I used them when replacing the factory speakers on my 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic double cab. These speaker wire harness adapters are well made. One end of the wire harness has a GM speaker connector and the other end has 2 spade terminals that connect directly to the replacement speaker. I was a bit concerned that blade terminals would be lost or sloppy. It's not like that

Perfect for upgrading 2003 Chevrolet Suburban speakers

These fit into the front and rear door speaker jacks of my 2003 Chevrolet Suburban and make the speaker upgrade much easier. No soldering or splicing, just connect directly to the stock wiring harness and new speakers. The only minor catch (hardly to call it a complaint) is that I find the length a bit awkward. They're long enough that you probably shouldn't just leave them dangling in the doors, as they can get stuck in the window pane or rattle on a rough road when they roll down. But they…
