Works best in automotive and automotive electronics

When you remove a Ford installed radio after after the first ten or fifteen minutes you decide the hangar is working and realize it doesn't actually work , these little monsters can be a real lifesaver. The only other option is to use a hammer and screwdriver. Destroy the head unit completely and remove it piece by piece. However, these tools are a bit simpler.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Worked for my one time use and then put up for sale on ebay!

Did a good job. Was used to remove the factory radio from my 2004 Ford Focus ZX3 and then put it up for sale on eBay to refund some of my money and keep it out of the hands of the horrid neighborhood kids. (If you have horrible kids snooping around your store you don't want them around as they are perfect cat eyes and I love cats and don't want them to get hurt.)

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Works Great: Automotive and Automotive Electronics

Great price and works exactly how I need it. A stock 2006 Ford E150 radio, fully exposed on the dash, eliminating the need to remove trim or dash panels. 30 seconds and the radio didn't work and I knew what to do to replace it. Another 30 seconds and it's up and running again until I get all the details on how to update. Make sure you push the pins all the way in until they snap into place, as per the instructions that came with them.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Used in our Promaster

We used this on our 2016 Ram Pro Master. They really need to alternate yellow and red like previous reviews. And like they said, if it doesn't work, don't change it. But it worked fine and it snapped on pretty well without using an adapter, it wobbles a bit. You may need an antenna adapter that works great. You'll see what I mean if you pull yours out and your antenna is oddly shaped they obviously don't match this radio.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Car Radio Removal Key

At first I tried to bend the shackle. When that didn't work, I decided to use the right tools. Just stick them in, I'd add, until they click. Slightly press both parts from the outside and pull out the walkie-talkie as instructed, and the walkie-talkie will come out. The best investment I've made. As far as I remember, the instructions don't say to press, rather you have to press the buttons outwards to the right and left with respect. I watched YouTube. That helped.

Pros
  • Easy-to-Read Control Panel
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared

Does what it says

I have a 2006 Ford Escape and finally decided to upgrade my radio. Looking online I figured it would cost me a lot to install one of these so I tried it myself instead. I removed the entire cover at first but with the AC power cords I gave up and found this product. SAVE MONEY AND TIME! Even for a weak girl like me, it's very easy to take off the radio. Took about 2 seconds and saved me a lot of money. Worth the price, although I'll probably only use them once.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Crumpled

Amazing little car stereo removal tools!

Impressive little tools! Solid metal, well made, durable and does exactly what it's supposed to do! Worked great on our 1993 Ford F250 with the radio removed when it died. It's been working making and modeling for many years, and now lives in my backpack with the rest of my basic car tools when I need to go to 'haul and recover' a broken car and extract parts. You pull out the radio with little effort. Just make sure you have 2 inserts on each side of your radio to ensure they are the correct…

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Some bugs
