good product at a good price

Texture matches my 2009 Tacoma dashboard perfectly. Everything fits perfectly. Although the plastic isn't as strong as the OEM, careful installation will prevent problems. The plastic clips worked well. Exceeded my expectations based on feedback from others, but not perfect; I had to clean up the holes a bit.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not sure

That looks great! I am very happy with it.

This part looks great on my 2010 Tacoma. I don't know if they changed the color compared to some of the other reviewers, but this one is exactly the same as my original pattern. The only negative is that I would rather see metal struts instead of plastic struts. But my head unit seems strong, so everything is fine.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not suitable for ATOTO A6 Pro A6Y2721PR - Tacoma 2nd gen

Not suitable for ATOTO A6 Pro A6Y2721PR although other devices are recommended for this main unit - installed on Tacoma 2nd gen - have to reckon with applying for a file true to form, but since it's painted silver filing the finish doesn't look good. Went with the SCOSCHE DDIN kit. The application ring is black and looks professional after some filing.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

It works as advertised but is far from factory quality.

Bracket kit works well in conjunction with the Metra 70-1761 wiring harness kit and makes it easy to install a non-original double din deck in my 2008 Tacoma. Everything fits decently, but it's a cheap/cheap kit. With the exception of Full Custom, this is the only option compared to the Scosche kits, which I didn't like either. Pros: Inexpensive. Everything fits perfectly. No knocks, squeaks and other oddities. Looks good after installation. Cons: OEM radio mounts are metal, these are plastic…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good best spare parts

Very good value for money. The texture goes perfectly with my 2009 Tacoma and looks really good at the end of the day. That being said, the quality is far from perfect, but it will get the job done. The brackets are plastic which I thought was a disaster but it has held up for the past few weeks and I haven't had any issues with it so far. I don't know anyone else but I had to bend the plastic parts of the bracket to fit my Pioneer 4100NEX when screwing it on. I also want people to know that…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Both better and worse than the Scosche bezel

Recent years have installed the Scosche bezel and it is of similar quality with slightly different options. Here is the basic option 2. For an oversized device with a double din connector (like Kenwood ddx9703s) Metra is the best choice as the hole is slightly larger. For a true dual-dyne (99% of other head units), the Scosche looks cleaner. I call it a draw. Both brands use the same quality plastics, neither is exceptional or looks exceptional. Both offer almost the same overall gray softness.

  • The best

Good looks, poor quality

Conclusion: You won't find a better double din stereo mounting kit in this price range. Still, this kit is certainly not perfect. Some observations I made while installing/using this product are as follows: Fit and Finish: Right off the bat, the mounting surface is a near perfect replica of the OEM finish. The color matches perfectly, the texture is identical. However, the same cannot be said of the fit. During installation you will notice that the side brackets that attach the retrofit radio…

Pros
  • Great price
