Worse than useless in radio accessories

Doesn't even come close to fitting in any dual din radio. Too cheap to do with a dremel. If you have a Matrix '09, you'll have to buy a Bondo and do the surround sound yourself. Don't waste your time with this garbage.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No paint needed

Worked great with a small glitch on the screws for me.

Worked fine for me in a 2009 Marx with a JBL system. My only complaint would be that no screws were included and the screws that Sony supplied with the receiver were too short, but I was able to use the ones from the original old receiver.

  • Good thing

Worked after modification

Installation was very difficult and I installed a lot of stereos. I ended up having to cut off part of the bottom left bracket to mount the unit far enough to the left to be able to mount a bezel on it. Two stars because it was my only choice and was a great fit after the alteration.

It worked.: Spare parts

There were many instructions, not to mention every indication of left and right. After spending an hour figuring out the correct slot, I had a hard time inserting the final screws to secure it. It still had gaps, not very ideal. Honestly I thought the plastic would break once everything was screwed down.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • I really have nothing to complain about, everything is fine

Good price, worked.

Several reviews have complained about plastic but we now live in a plastic world. It does the job. Used in 2010 Toyota Matrix. At first I tried using standard mounts but they didn't quite fit the new Jensen VX7080 I bought. These fit perfectly. And the front panel fitted perfectly. These people know exactly what they need.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • There are downsides

NOT for 2009 Matrix and Standard Dual DIN Radio!

The hole is too small! The hole for the radio is TOO SMALL about 1/8" (3mm) all the way around so a standard 2 din radio will NOT fit in AT ALL. I used a file and belt sander to pry it open but if when it's done it looks bad because of the gaps in the corners Get something else.

Pros
  • Steep
Cons
  • Weak sentence

Doesn't fit properly when finished; It doesn't look good

This frame looks and most importantly the car is great. The problem is that when you mount the radio it is not flush with all the g's, there is a gap of about 1/2 inch and when the volume control is on either side it is not accessible. I wish they had an alternative to make it smooth and look beautiful. Having finished I'm not happy with the looks but for two din radios there seems to be no other choice.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Volume

Very poor fit: Spare part

Generally the front panel does not fit well and slides back easily after everything is assembled. I could even give it 4 stars as it's the only one available. However, the mounting brackets have so many holes in the plastic that it's impossible to find or make holes that will properly line up my radio in the dash. I'll end up using metal brackets from an old radio after spending time fitting the plastic brackets. I don't know what I'm going to do with the front panel.

Wrong product badly recommended by Revain.

This product will NOT work on 2009 Toyota Matrix. Also, the two wiring products recommended by Revain were the SAME, so I bought two when I only needed one. Long story short, I paid a mechanic $80 to remove my radio, try to install a new radio, tell me the Revain recommended products were wrong, and then put my old radio back on install as it was. I couldn't bother at all and saved $110. I'm seriously considering canceling my Prime membership and getting a non-Revain credit card because that's…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring Packaging
