it serves its purpose.

Mismatched textures in car The radio and air conditioner's firm hold is a little looser than we would like in places, but the radio is in the car and well protected.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Very diverse! Perfect for my Altima

Installs quickly and easily. The installation documentation is great! Looks great in a 2008 Nissan Altima (with A/C). I was nervous as it is a one size item but it looks really great and the main unit looks like it came in a car!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Poor workmanship of the spare parts

This is the worst product I have ever bought to install a car radio. The owner's manual says there are 9 parts in the kit, but there are 7 in the kit. Two parts are missing which are DANGEROUS to the installation: a 2-DIN radio bracket and an AC bracket. Don't waste your money, buy a Scoshe kit instead.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Protection

This kit worked. in the radio accessory

I used this to fit a two tier head unit and it fits perfectly, the only problem I have with it is that the little bezel that goes around the head unit makes a wobbling noise, not from the noise, but from the vibrations of the engine. It's not that loud and I only have to press it for a second to mute it for a while, but that's just food for thought. In general completely satisfied.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • So far so good

Metrum vs. Scosche for radio accessories

My first purchase was from Scosche to replace the stereo that came with my Nissan Altima. The Scosche came with separate stereo and air conditioning controls. What caused problems uninstalling after installing. If you install everything from scratch, this is not a problem. The second time I decided to take the subway. This time the gauges fit well, but when installed in a dashboard with a two-DIN radio, the plastic bends. And the gap between the air conditioning nozzles above and the dashboard.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • not reliable

It works. But it looks terrible.

I've used Metra kits to install stereos in various cars since high school. It wasn't hard to order again when I installed a Pioneer two din navigation box in my girlfriend's 2008 Nissan Altima (with manual air conditioning). Let me tell you the kit works. The radio is built in and isn't going anywhere. That's all. The kit is designed to work with multiple applications. This requires multiple plugs around the radio and around the air conditioning controls, manual or automatic. These panels do…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
