Easy to install, does what it says on the tin

I installed a new head unit in my Chevy HHR. It turns out our little buggy was from the years when GM started broadcasting car signals through the radio/speaker system. This interface works great and is easy to install. There are reviews talking about the horrible sounds of the "new" ringing and signaling. Of course, they also take a bit of getting used to, like going from an instruction manual to a well-made (not crappy) digital doorbell, but to say they're terrible is a stretch. I think to…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Don't remember

So this smart harness shouldn't work on my 2015 Chevy Express van, but by moving a few pins to get the wires in the right order it works fine. Now I can get my aftermarket radio. This harness offers a switched wire, gives me the ability to use a backup camera, I have a doorbell and turn signal click. Generic sound but works. Pros
  • Provides NAV (parking brake/reverse/speed sensor) outputs

Great product, wife loves the new bells too

Great product arrived very quickly, works as promised and is very reliable and loud as factory bells. By the way, my wife likes the new bells. My only problem is that once you put that in the seat belts, that bad boy will be there and hard to get out. also advise! If your device isn't getting power or sound, make sure the connectors are fully inserted. I did this because I thought I had a bad block, but as soon as I backed up and hit it, I clicked hard and my radio stick came alive with…

Pros
  • Spart RAP
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Bad wiring harness

Plugged in, bad connection, $300 Radio turns on and off. When I finally fumbled with the seatbelt to get it to work, I hit a bump and kicked on and off. It has a very strong hiss through the speakers, I really think it has to do with the seat belts too. I won't buy this again. I unplugged my radio 10 times from 6am thinking I could get it to work, I even bundled the wires and taped them in place. Still static and bad connection. The bad connection I think comes from the chymose box and from my…
