This is the best burger maker I've ever had! Five stars everywhere. First lay down the wax paper and then press your burger. Comes out without sticking. It's really easy to clean.

The handle is very comfortable to use. The press can be washed in the dishwasher. Perfect size burger. I like the stainless steel base and the porcelain top. It's non-toxic, which is important to me. I can definitely recommend this press. It will also be a great gift.

This is one of the few 5 inch hamburgers. I like simplicity: two parts, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. large enough to get some of the force needed to plate the patty. All in all a great way to make patties.

This press works great. We mix other foods into our patties, so we've found that chilling the meat and keeping it very cold helps shape the patty and handle the meat. We've also found that using the liner on both the top and bottom helps keep things neat and tidy. With our patty mix, we would immediately experience sticking to the press. I have just purchased and used this hamburger press for the first time. It didn't impress me at all. I wanted a 5 inch press which is not the norm. It was one of the few available. (Most presses are 4 or 4-1/2 inches.) However, squeezing 4 ounces of meat into five inches was almost impossible when I pressed as hard as I could. I bought this press primarily because of its diameter. The inside diameter of the base section (the "mold ring") is just over 4.9 inches and the inside depth is just over 1 inch, not counting the crest of the valley and the ridges that form the groove.
