Works well for stationary CB radios

However it was shipped via UPS and I had to re-insert the roll inductor through the large hole in the side of the double wrapped product.

I sent it back: Fixed Mount CB Radios

Antenna Tuner Gauge didn't work. Technical support is asked to install a 9V battery by removing the cover (12 screws) and inserting the battery. I did this and it still didn't work. So I returned it.

Bad outsourcing for repairs

SWR meter failure: both hands are half way. Configuration failed. Sent back to MFJ who sent it to a 3rd party repair company. Received credit but charged high shipping cost due to non-Revain company waiving shipping cost.

Decent tuner for the price, there are better ones.

I bought this tuner because I have another MFJ, 969, that works great. This has some problems. Mine arrived with a roughness on the inductor knob that I quickly discovered was causing the gauge to read inaccurately. It no longer tends to zero, but goes beyond the range in which it should be. The tuner no longer correctly sets 20m or 10m Mine is going back to the seller. I emailed MFJ hoping they would get in touch and offer to fix the problem over 2 weeks ago. No answer even though MFJ saysโ€ฆ
