Does what it promises

Tested when trying to record a voice message with the dictaphone on the S8 Plus. Everything is recorded until I connect the lock. I think it's as good a test as any. It's so small I can put it anywhere. On the other hand, it is small enough to be easily lost. I'm planning to find a way to attach it to the zipper in my purse or backpack.

It works, it really works!

I take part in meetings by phone and only listen for the time being. I've forgotten to mute my phone multiple times and the results have been embarrassing. With this little gem connected to my phone I no longer have to worry about my phone turning off and people on the other end hearing me go to the bathroom etc. Those things are important.

Works as intended.

Connected to the phone and a microphone connected. Called a friend and they couldn't speak to me or hear anything when the mic was plugged in. Disconnected the mic lock and reconnected the mic/headphones and they heard me. It works out. Now bad apps can't hear me.

Works well and comes with a webcam cover

Seems to work exactly as expected. I wish it was a little more compact so I could leave it inside and not have to worry about it snagging on something, but I knew what I was getting. The included free webcam cover was a nice touch.

The only REAL OFFER, mic blocker with the right load to mute device on mic

The only REAL mic blocker with the right load to mute device, with inclusion of external mic mode, as opposed to cheap Connectors that just short will only block the connection to the internal microphone - it's useless. What's also great about these devices is that you can manually override them by manually selecting speakerphone, so you don't have to unplug the device, especially if you forget it's plugged in and answer a call. Too bad they didn't offer a Lightning version without SoundPass…
