Description of 🔧 Michelin Tires

Competition ready front or rear-wheel road bike tire offers Michelin's best features for both competition and training on asphalt. The new X-Race rubber compound combines rolling resistance, grip, and wear to improve tire longevity and safety on cornering. Can be mounted on a metal or carbon hook rim with butyl or latex inner tube for even more efficiency while riding. More robustness and puncture protection thanks to the tire's Aramid Protek plus reinforcement and its 3x120 TPI casing in the flanks. Tube type front or rear tire; weight 223g; size 700 x 23C.

Not very strong at all

The sidewall is divided by a small 1/2 inch thick rock. I've been running Michelin Power tires for a number of years and I've never gone that fast, even on the light and thin Power Competition. I will never buy this tire again.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Update available

Great tire for tires

This Michelin tire feels great, great traction and back road riding between Katy, Fulshire and Simonton, Texas. Has been on them for about 725 miles, they still look like new . Haven't had any punctures yet, heavy rain caught me on 3 rides, and this rubber seemed very tenacious and sovereign to me. 700x25 0.233 grams

Pros
  • Good packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled

TERRIBLE! while cycling

If you want to ride these tubeless, you can't. It is IMPOSSIBLE to plant these tires. If you maybe want to use them with cameras. I have NEVER seen a tire that is so difficult to mount on a rim. Use Continental GP5000. The ONLY reason I tried them was because they were the only 700x23 images available due to backorders. waste of time and money. Good salesman. Received quickly.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No power

Divot profile defective? No, it's a feature!

I initially only gave these tires 2 stars as I thought the notch in the tread near the letters TWI (see photo) was a defect. This happens twice on each bus. Turns out TWI stands for Tire Wear Indicator. So a divot is not a defect, but a feature! I regret returning them. I drove over 500 miles on the previous Michelin set with no problems. I only bought new ones because the old ones are getting old. I didn't know TWI was a feature.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Band

Poor quality - tires and tubes

I bought blue ones, so far I've only changed the rear one. Looks good, if a bit disappointing. "They advertise a lug resistant pad that was punctured a couple of times in just a month when I had a tire. - The sidewall is already worn and I had 4 bruises. they begin to detach from the bottom layer of the tire. I'm worried these tires won't even last 3 full months. My other tires have lasted 3 years with minimal problems. There used to be cleats, but my other tires didn't advertise a special…

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are flaws
